User Generated Content - Creativity Explored

Posted by admin on Saturday, March 15th, 2008

Here we are in the boom of web 2.0. Social networking sites are up the wazoo, blogs are of the abundance, and everything and anything someone wants to write, say, show, or portray can be done. Not only can it be done, but it can be showcased to millions of people. User Generated Content is what drives the Internet communications. Blogs are now research vehicles to help individuals solve problems, open up a new discussion, and self help discovery.

Vlogs (that’s what I like to call it) give individuals the ability to become more creative with their camcorders at home and editing programs, creating rich content for amusement. We see creativity approached from many angles and all kinds of category. And now we see that people are indulged in User Generated Content, not for money but because they enjoy it.

I see UGC as a great player in the exploration of creativity. There are no rules or regulations. Discuss what you want to say, and show it anyway you think the message will be heard. It doesn’t get any easier than that?

I encourage all my readers; start thinking of a message you want to craft. Don’t give yourself rules and approach UGC as a vehicle where you too can express your creativity.
